FAQ

What should i expect in an art class?

All classes are 1.5 hours long, so plan accordingly! In my little studio, I provide all the materials necessary for you to develop your style and skills, but feel free to bring your own supplies as well. I teach ages 6+ (no younger) and can guide students in their growth, no matter their skill level.

what ages do you teach?

As mentioned above, I teach ages 6 years old and up. Teaching children any younger can be difficult, as their attention usually runs out and then they’re onto the next thing! By the time they reach 6 years old, they can usually focus enough to create at least one project.

What’s a paint party?

If you’ve never heard or participated in a paint party, then you’re definitely missing out! Paint parties are an exciting new way to socialize and experience a casual class with expert individual instruction. For my own paint parties, I’ll usually decide the topic based on popular demand, and then host the parties at a specific location. Snacks, supplies and ambiance are usually provided.

Do you do commissions?

Absolutely! I studied and received my training at the Art Center in Southern California, which exposed me to complex mediums, grandiose projects and commissions by some of the most famous people on the planet. I’ve done everything from custom portraits on wood and metal all the way to wedding portraits and full-building murals. If you have something in mind, please reach out, and I’d be happy to help!

why are some classes more expensive?

As you’ll notice, some of my class prices are more expensive than others. This is usually due to longer teaching times, materials provided and the effort that’s invested in the preparation of the class. At my studio, the quality and experience are always worth the investment.
